A Dayton-area restaurateur has announced his retirement, along with the sale of his business to another pair of local restaurant owners.

Bill DeFries, owner of Beef O’Brady’s in Beavercreek, said the restaurant at 3347 Seajay Drive has been sold to the owners of Wings Sports Bar & Grille in Vandalia, Chad and Mary Macek.

The last day the restaurant will operate as Beef O’Brady’s will be Jan. 17, with the new owners assuming operations and serving lunch the next day, DeFries said in a press release.
